I started with the Y intersection that is said from ancient times to be a place for propitiating the goddess Hekate and built on that with her characteristic color, saffron. As a background, I added black, to reference her dark aspect and her connection with witchcraft, cemeteries, and the Underworld. She is present at many connections. The original painting has been sold.
