If the Devil had a hothouse--a heated greenhouse--what would he have growing in it? I use a lot of botanical forms in my paintings and decided to create some infernal plant forms. I knew they would have to have a sexual content, but I also wanted them to be abstract forms--biomorphism rather than any Realist approach, which IMO often comes out hokey when applied to spirits of any type. I also used the strong color contrast often utilized in the mundane world by poisonous version of critters like frogs, fish, or caterpillars.  The original oil painting is 8 x 10" on canvas and has been sold.
