October Moon Landscape Painting
This painting is based on a photo I took of the trees behind my building last October. The leaves are still hanging on to the trees at that time of year, just beginning to fall. I love the shapes of the trees back there. And I can often see the moon rising and swimming across the sky. My favorite times of day are sunrise and sunset, the doorways to night and day, and I love to paint those times. I always feel like there is something inherently magic about them--and of course, about the moon.
The original oil painting is 16 x 20"/41 x 51cm on cotton canvas with a traditional 75"/2cm profile and is ready to frame. Archival prints on heavy watercolor paper are also available.
