I enjoy all the sorts of belladonna out there, but with this painting, I felt like painting an Indian belladonna blossom on account of the nice contrast between the inside and outside of the flower. I've grown this particular belladonna a number of times and always found it easier to germinate than the regular belladonna. It contains all the same goodies as Atropa belladonna and has the same magical uses.
The original mixed media painting is 9 x 12"/23 x 30cm on heavy cotton watercolor paper and is ready to frame. No need for glass.
